“Three drafts of the itinerary before we paid anything, and every change was answered the same day. The guide in Chiang Mai was worth the whole trip.”
4.9 out of 5, across 2,400 reviews.
Verified on Tripadvisor and Google, plus the feedback we collect ourselves after every trip. We publish the awkward ones too.
We hold a 4.9 average across 2,400+ reviews on Tripadvisor and Google, with 68% of travellers booking again or referring a friend. Reviews below are published unedited, including the critical ones.
Two numbers matter more than the average. The first is 68% — the proportion of travellers who either book again or send someone else, which is the only review metric that costs the reviewer something. The second is the number of reviews that mention a problem, because a perfect record across 2,400 trips would suggest we are filtering.
The complaints we get are consistent and we publish them: a hotel that was not what the photos suggested, a guide whose English was weaker than expected, a boat cancelled for weather with too little notice. Each one is answered publicly and the itinerary or hotel is changed if it recurs. The trip file is not closed until the traveller says it is.
Reviews are collected by email three days after return, before any follow-up offer, and the Tripadvisor and Google links are on the confirmation. We do not incentivise reviews with discounts and we do not edit them.
“Travelled with a 7 and a 10 year old. Boat timings changed twice and they still met us at the pier with cold water and a smile.”
“One person in Bangkok from the first email to the last transfer. She had actually stayed in the hotel she recommended.”
“No hidden extras. The price we agreed in November was the price we paid, entrance fees and all. Rare enough to mention.”
“We asked for two nights with nothing planned. They understood immediately, which most agencies do not.”
“The elephant sanctuary they chose was small, quiet and clearly about the animals. That alone was worth booking direct.”
“We didn't want a tour. We wanted someone who knew the country to make the week work. That is exactly what we got.”
“Fourteen days and not one wasted morning. The only thing I would change is staying a fourth night in Krabi.”
“The guide explained the railway history without dramatising it. Careful, honest and very well organised.”
“Six nights on a boat with eight strangers and it never once felt crowded. The cook was the best part.”
“Excellent guiding and a beautiful route. One hotel was below the standard of the others and they refunded the difference without argument.”
“Three weeks is a long time to be organised. Nothing fell through, and the one thing that did — a cancelled flight — was rebooked before we reached the airport.”
