Small-Group Thailand Tours
Set departures capped at 8–12 travellers. Same guides, same hotels, a lower price and people to eat dinner with.
A small-group Thailand tour is a set departure with a fixed itinerary, capped at eight to twelve travellers. You share the vehicle and the guide; you do not share the room, and the days are the same ones we run privately.
The cap matters more than the label. 'Small group' in the brochures often means 24 people; ours means a maximum of twelve, which fits in one longtail, one restaurant table and one wildlife guide's attention span. Departures run on fixed dates through the season, mostly from Bangkok or Phuket.
The advantage over private travel is price and company. Sharing the vehicle and the guide cuts the per-person cost by roughly a fifth, and solo travellers get people to eat dinner with. The trade-off is that you cannot change the route — the boat leaves when it leaves.
