“Six nights on a boat with eight strangers and it never once felt crowded. The cook was the best part.”

Phuket Family Beach Week
A week built around calm water, short drives and a boat day timed for children.
Phuket Family Beach Week is a 5-day private trip from $980 per person for families of three to six, based at Kata Noi with one boat day and optional kids' activities. It is deliberately light on scheduling.
A week built around calm water, short drives and a boat day timed for children.
Best for: Families with children 4 and up. The route runs Phuket. Everything below is a starting point: hotels can be upgraded or simplified, days can be added, and any element can be removed.
The mistake families make in Phuket is booking an itinerary. Children do not want a temple at 9am; they want the sea and a pool. This trip is built around Kata Noi, which is the quietest swimmable beach on the west coast, with a reef at the south headland and no jet skis.
The one structured day is a private longtail to a quiet island, timed for the morning so nobody is out in the midday sun. Everything else is optional — a Big Buddha sunset, a Thai cooking session for teenagers, a surf lesson in the shoulder season.

Yes. Every itinerary on this site is a starting point. Days can be added or removed, hotels upgraded or simplified, and the route reordered around your dates — we re-cost it as many times as you need before you commit.
Not included: international flights, meals not listed. Everything else listed under “What’s included” is in the quote, and we do not add local payments on arrival.
Three to six months ahead for the best hotels, and by September for travel over Christmas and New Year. Green-season trips can usually be arranged with six weeks’ notice.
Four and up, mainly because of the boat day. The hotel has a kids' club and a shallow pool for younger children.
November to April yes. In the monsoon season the undertow is serious and we move families to the east coast instead.

What travellers say about trips like this
“Excellent guiding and a beautiful route. One hotel was below the standard of the others and they refunded the difference without argument.”
“Three weeks is a long time to be organised. Nothing fell through, and the one thing that did — a cancelled flight — was rebooked before we reached the airport.”
